AFI's weird use of white supremacist imagery

So can someone please explain to me what in the name of utter fuck is going on with milquetoast emo band AFI? Because their most recent album has some … questionable imagery attached, especially considering that their main music video for this album is called “White Offerings” and includes the lyrics “White offerings are all I bring; I welcome you, I offer you this white room; I can feel your color changing“ and, well, the album focuses A LOT on blood, includes blood in sort of an equilateral triangle configuration as the logo of the thing. And that just happens to be above the rating of “KKKKK” given to them by Kerrang! (Who, yea, probably should just use stars)
And this is from Davey Havock who was in Xtrmst when he sang “Stack the bodies high. Delineate between the breeds and mine will set the fires. We’ll set fire. Set fire. Raise the X to exorcise. Cast the drinking demons out. In this war of purity I march with the devout. I’ll kill with the devout. I’ll die with the devout. I’ll kill. I’ll die in this war of purity. I’ll purify. Raise the X. Rise with the X. I cast you out.” for their song called (jesus fuck) The Breed.
Also, please for fuck’s sake note that one of the background images for Havok’s website is a goddamned noose in front of a church underneath some faux-futhork*. Please also note that this image of a noose follows a different image of a snarling dog’s teeth and is right above an image of a black wolf and a white wolf wrestling. PLEASE ALSO NOTE that Havock is offering a Black Sun/Sonnenrad shirt for sale that he’s calling a “Mondrad” to avoid calling it a sun wheel and that he’s also selling futhark life and death rune shirts and that the life rune shirt is called “lily.”
Now look. I’m not actually an AFI fan, I don’t particularly care about them. NBD to me. But here’s a band of white dudes who are singing songs about blood purity and white offerings and who are selling shirts with straight-up nazi symbols that they show underneath a fucking noose.
WHAT THE UTTER AND ABSOLUTE FUCK? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN.
(Spoilers: no, because this is inexplicable if it’s anything other than racist, because it doesn’t get to be 2017 without a world-famous band understanding that at least one of these things is EXTRA RACIST.)
