DB20 Post

So there’s an LA Weekly article about John G who is like seriously the heart of the LA goth scene and who runs Complex which is the a venue adapted from the ground up to be a place where Industrial/Electronic/Darkwave music sounds fucking awesome and it’s my favorite venue forreal and I’m in the picture from the header of the article and it warms my cold dark little heart and there’s so much fun shit going on in the photo that I felt compelled to do this.
Photo is from the third night of DB20 at Union during Covenant’s closing set and I love how excited people are and that person in the blue makeup looks just awesome and there was *such* a good lineup for the anniversary weekend and Scott Fox gave me a hug because he liked my drawing and I got to talk to Tom Shear and thank him for supporting domestic violence charities, this was such a great weekend, thank you John for making shit like this possible and amazing and all y’all in LA should check out shows at Complex and support the scene.
Also FYI Stoked Guy who’s front & center is the one throwing horns in the header of this blog.
(ED - awww, this was back before complex closed down and now I'm even more sad)
